The rooms at El Dorado Maroma are split into two distinct sections; the Infinity and Mi Hotelito areas. The Mi Hotelito section is the original part of the hotel and has just twenty-four rooms. The rooms here are smaller than those in the Infinity section but they have a more traditional Mexican design with their wooden terraces and palapas. This area has a more intimate and romantic feel.

The remaining forty-eight rooms are in the Infinity section which faces the main swimming pool. These rooms are more spacious and very stylish with a king bed and sitting area. Most of the suites have their own infinity-edged swimming pool on the terrace. The ground floor suites have terraces that lead to the Lazy River, a highly-distinctive feature that enables guests to swim from their rooms to the main pool.
