Santa Clara del Cobre is a small town that is about 10 miles from Patzcuaro, and is famous for its artisans skilled in the making of copper goods. It has now been nominated a “Pueblo Magico”.
Tourists can watch the artisans at work and buy copper goods directly from them. The quality of the goods is extremely hight.
